BC Wheelchair Floorball Association was established in 2016. Since then, our group has grown to over 100 players who have tried this incredible sport.
The purposes on which BC Wheelchair Floorball Association are based on are:
- To facilitate a sustainable program for athletes with and without disabilities to participate in the sport of wheelchair floorball
- To promote athlete involvement in wheelchair floorball at both the developmental and competitive level and to facilitate participation in local, national, and international tournaments
- To develop an environment and attitude that promotes inclusion, team work, and independence while supporting our members to build long lasting relationships and stay involved in sport and physical activity for life
- To provide similar and related services as determined by the membership
BCWFA currently plays every Thursday 6:00pm at the Roundhouse Community Centre, and at the Queen Elizabeth Park Outdoor Rink Sunday 10:30am (if the sun is shining).
Cost: Free for players incurring financial hardship or $20 per year for those who can afford it.
